DTEL Corp. published target Climate Ambition aims to halve absolute emission by 2030 and reach net-zero by 2050 – in line with 1.5°C Climate target objectives by:

Reduce carbon emissions: more than 90% of operators' operational carbon footprint is due to electricity used to power the networks. DTEL will use network modernization through power-saving features and smart devices.

Use renewable energy to power networks: Instead of using diesel generators, will consider the use of solar power, wind power, hydrogen fuel cell, and renewable electricity from renewable sources.
Look into investing in wireless technologies and equipment that consume less energy.
